It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Johnson (Centerville, Georgia), who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Maudeen Ferguson Summers and Ray Summers; her parents-in-law, Emory Hewlett Johnson and Margaret Louise "Pattie" Knight Johnson; and her husband Bud Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Denise Johnson Atkins; her son-in-law Frank Stephen Atkins; her son Douglas Derrell Johnson (Liz Bolick); her grandchildren, Dana Marie Johnson Bohac, Kevin Harold Bohac, Bryan Stephen Atkins, Mandy Beth Spissman Atkins and Melissa Denise Atkins; her great grandchildren, Shelby Faith Atkins and Kaitlyn Riley Atkins; her brother Raymond Earl Summers; her sister-in-law Viola Jean "Jeannie" Hare Summers; and her nephews, Raymond Keith Summers and Kirk Charles Summers (Jennifer Anne Reagan).
