She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert R. Clay and Era Mae Davis-Carroll; and her daughter Lyndsey Nicole Smith. She is survived by: her husband Marcus Smith; her children, Gerry Smith (Tina) and Lauren Smith-Cropper (Clay); her grandchildren, Joshua, Annsley and Natalie; and her siblings, Deborah Carroll and Lee Carroll.
