He was predeceased by: his parents, Coach Crosby and Nezzie Crosby (Pearson); and his siblings, Jean Lee and Carroll Crosby. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Crosby (Boatright); his son Douglas Clinton Crosby (Rena) of Warner Robins; and his grandchildren, RyLea Kirkus and Ryan Kirkus.

Due to the recent covid-19 the family will be having a public memorial service announced later.
