It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chalene Vester King Howard Cross (Centerville, Georgia), born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ramsey Horace Howard; her daughter Lori Howard; and her siblings, Eva Mae, Clifton, Herchel, Inez, Maehugh, Vernell and LaRue.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Howard (Cheryl), Jan Whigam (Woody), Terry Cross (Dena), Wayne Cross (Joyce) and Randall Cross (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Clay McCall, Amy Green (Bucky), Ramsey Howard (Jaclyn), Joni Ross, Diane Fountain (Michael), Sasha Whigam, Lock Whigam (Becky), Christopher Cross (Lori), Heather Cross, Shaun Cross, Ryan Cross (Blake) and Callie Cross; her sister Viola King Yawn; and also, Jimmy Horace Howard and Janis Inez Howard.
