She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sherrill Stafford; and her parents, Kathleen Hallman and John Judson Hallman of Bibb County. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Poythress (Hal) and Dorothy Stafford; her granddaughter Haden Poythress; her brother John Judson Hallman, Jr.; her niece Lyn Parrish (Hal); and her nephews, Jay (Jana) and Jeff Hallman.
