He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hendrix and Frances Diggs Hendrix; his wife Hazel Swann Hendrix; and his siblings, Billy Hendrix, Harold Hendrix, Betty Parrish, Dot Burnham and Joyce Hendrix.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Hendrix (Tanya) of Dallas, Scott Hendrix (Amanda) of Cedartown and Michelle Horne (Joel) of Charlotte, N. C.; his grandchildren, Lauren Ellis (Kenny), Megan Hendrix, Trey Hendrix, Landon Hendrix, Jacob Horne, Benjamin Horne, Grant Hendrix and Makaila Horne; and his great grandchildren, Easton Ellis, Aspyn Hendrix and Maverick Hendrix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship will be established at Cedartown High School, 167 Frank Lott Drive, Cedartown, Georgia 30125 in memory of "Thomas Edward Hendrix".
