He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Weeks and Inez Holcombe Weeks; his son Jason David Weeks; his son-in-law Hugh Dean Morgan II; his siblings, Robert Weeks, James Weeks and Eleanor Slaughter; and his pets, Princess, Mollie, Lucy, Buttercup, Millie and Gypsie.
He is survived by: his significant other Joye Garmon Weeks; his children, Britney Weeks (Chris Tenpas) and Susan Morgan; his daughter-in-law Kellie Weeks; his grandchildren, Jon Gresham, Zane Weeks, George Mason Weeks, Hugh Morgan V, Leila Weeks and Leona Weeks; his sister Betty Weeks; and his cousin Jane Manner (Barbara Daniels). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or the Georgia Masonic Children's Home.
