He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Preacher" Smith and Eloise Lewis Smith; his daughter Suzanne Renee Turner; and his sister Geraldine "Dean" Arencibia. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Smith; his children, Ralph Smith Jr. (Kelly), Melissa Smith-Edge and Annette Smith (Steve); his stepchildren, Ira Childers and Rhea Beck (Robert); his siblings, Billy Smith and Charlene Kuhlman (Eddie); his brother-in-law Freddie Arencebia, Sr. (Additionally); his grandchildren, Ashley Edge, Payton Cox, Jason Blankenship, Kathryn Smith and Riley Turner; his stepgrandchildren, Damien Beck, Marlon Moralas and Katlyn Beck; his grandchild Champ Beck; and his stepgrandchildren, Rudy Beck and Lyla Beck. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
