She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Hackney and Florence Wray Hackney; her siblings, Helen Hackney and Kenneth N. Hackney; and her parents-in-law, Kerlin and Theresa McLendon.
She is survived by: her husband James K. McLendon, Jr.; her children, Paige DeWitt (Bob), Stacey Oliver, Kelly McLendon (Laura), Amy Lameka and Teri Smith; and her siblings, Shelia Rabun and Stanley Hackney. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
