She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Emmett Cole Minter and Era Geneva Jones Minter; and her siblings, Donald Wayne "Johnny" Minter, Tommy Edward Minter and Joan Ellen Pilgrim.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Deaton; her children, Coy Deaton (Sandy) and Stacy Hess (Trevor); her siblings, Danny Minter (Elsie), Richard Minter (Barbara), Gary Minter (Elaine), Leroy Minter (Gina), Margie Allen (Wayne) and Patricia Pope (Paul); and her grandchildren, Jessica Deaton, Johnathan Deaton, Hanna Cline, Nicholas Deaton, Brayden Hess and Katie Peele. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
