She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Fincher and Willie Vae Lively Fincher; her husband John H. Wood; and her siblings, Lorene Hopkins, Nellie Wood, Betty Phillips, Dorothy Bailey, Frankie Reese and Caroline Wood.
She is survived by: her sons, John Waymond Wood (Sandra) and Kelly Wood (Leah); and her grandchildren, Tiffany Cook (Charles), Brent Wood, Kerry Wood, Dustin Wood, Allen Pruitt and Courtney Wood. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
