He was predeceased by: his father Walter Marvin Montfort; his brother-in-law William Rogers; and his father-in-law Ronnie Eugene Smith. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Frances Byrd Montfort; his wife Connie Montfort; his children, Josh Smith (Samantha), Jeannie Golden (Tyler) and Jack Montfort, Jr.; his grandchildren, Autumn Smith, Kyleigh Smith, Leighla Smith, Waylon Golden, Jaxon Eason, Ella-Jo Eason and Harper Eason; and his siblings, Lenita Rogers, Walter Montfort, David Montfort (Rhetta) and Katherine Bennett (Ronald). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedartown Church of God (448 West Ave, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
