He was predeceased by: his father William Chesley Jones; his wife Betty Loveless Jones; his son Michael Jones; his grandson Zach Jones; and his siblings, Bob Jones of Chesley Jones, J. C, Rena May and Colleen.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray Jones (Mahalah) and Ronny Jones (Mary). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Mr. Jones's honor.
