He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Franklin Lee and Annie Avis Sumner Lee; his wife Earline Burrell Lee; and his siblings, Bernie, Phyllis and Joyce.

He is survived by: his close friend Arlene Hulsey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
