He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Cox and Minnie Cox; his children, George Tinklepaugh, Richard "Red" Tinklepaugh and Carol Collins; his brother Fred Cox; his son-in-law Jack Miller; his wife JoAnn Cox; his children, Douglas Cox, James Tinklepaugh (Donna), Linda Miller, Debbie Sweet (Ken), Susie Wilfong (Dennis), Robin Bever (Jeff) and Patty Drake (Jim); his sisters, Shirley Suit and Grace Javens; and his son-in-law Collins. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Litesey Funeral Home (230 S College St, Cedartown, GA 30125).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society.
