She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Aaron" Reeves and Averia Talley Reeves; her husband Lamar Neal Rushing; her daughters, Pamela Jean Rushing and Patti Causey; and her siblings, Virginia Reeves Slappy, Ramona Reeves Landrum, John Malcolm Reeves and Donald Reed Reeves.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Rushing; her son-in-law Travis Causey; her sister Anne Reeves Peek (Buddy); her sister-in-law Gloria Rushing Harpe; and her grandchildren, Kenny Causey (Amy), Kyle Causey, Kody Causey and Konner Causey (Ansley). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
