She was predeceased by: her parents, R. B. Mitchell and Frances Truett Erwin; her daughter Amy Shaw Messick; and her siblings, Tony Mitchell and Michelle Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Keith Myers and Keyla Shaw; and her siblings, Joel Mitchell, Kim Mitchell and Tammy Carnes. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125).
