Daniel Blakely Lester Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Blakely Lester (Cedartown, Georgia), who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Lester (Lovett) and Daniel B. Lester; his wife Othella Lester (Grogan); and his sister Margaret Bourn (Lester). He is survived by: his sisters, Bettye Cranmer (Lester) and Blakely Ruth Aspinwall (Lovett); his sons, Robert Lester (Kristin Day) and Mike Lester (Tammy Morris); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Lester (Emily Rogers), Ashleigh (Lester), McGrath (Matt McGrath), Andrew Lester, Jackson Lester, Ethan Lester and Joshua Lester. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to a hospice group of your choosing in Mr. Lester's memory.
