He is survived by: his wife Mildred Roach Nixon; his children, Marty Nixon of Villa Rica, Georgia and Diane; his son-in-law Thomas Cole of Cedartown, Georgia; his children, Cheli Nixon of Cartersville, Georgia and Brice; his daughter-in-law Lindsey; his brother Danny; and his sister-in-law Betty Adams of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
