He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Robinson Dawson; his daughter Laura (Baby); his daughter-in-law Teresa Moore Dawson; his grandchildren, Kolby Dawson Watts, Rendi Leigh Dawson, Levi Dawson and McKinley Vaughn; his granddaughter-in-law Grace Sargent; and his great grandchildren, Brileigh Elizabeth Biddy, Bailey Ann Biddy and Becca Ann Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
