She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Joy Owen; her daughter Karen Danette Owen Smith; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ware Morgan, Paige Burkhalter Cagle and Christa Lauren Holmes; her great grandchildren, Ashleigh Ann Morris, Lenox Joy Cagle and Laina Alevia Cagle; and her nieces, Charlissa Langston Hinton, Stacey Langston and Carlotta Langston Fulton.
