She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Carnes and Emma Timms Carnes; her husband Willard Atkins; and her sisters, Myrtice Stroup, Lottie Wells and Lucille Cain.
She is survived by: her children, Thayler Sue Mullinex (Gene), Paulette McAdams (Chris), Randy Ray Atkins (Debbie) and Darrell Atkins (Tami); and her grandchildren, Rachel Stark, Christy Casey, Paige Atkins, Denise Pope, Rodney McAdams, Ashley West, Jennifer Pinkard and Emily Crane. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
