She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Carmichael and Bessie Carmichael; her husband William "Dub" Dempsey; her siblings, Thomas Wilburn Carmichael, Emory Carmichael, William E. Carmichael and Martha Evelyn Swanson; and her nephew Gary Carmichael.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Roger, Kenneth, Anthony Swanson, Kristy Carmichael Hadaway and Donna Carmichael Isgett.
The family will be accepting flowers or memorial contributions to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
