He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Terry Harrell. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Newton Lindsey and Joan Packer Lindsey; his wife Karen Lindsey; his children, Kaleb Lindsey and Kory Lindsey (Trish); his goddaughter Angel Dawn Harrell; his granddaughters, Eleanor Grace "Ellie Grace" Lindsey and Olivia Joan "Livi Jo" Lindsey; his brother Kirk Lindsey (Kim); his mother-in-law Diane Harrell; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Harrell (Kim) and Jason Harrell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
