She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Henry Collins and Clara Etta Carol Collins; her daughter Teressa Burton Torres; and her siblings, Everett Collins, Clarence Collins, Verna Collins, Raymond Collins, Norman Collins, Connie Brown, Margie Collins, Lucy Jane Collins, Ruth Crawford, Catherine Bennington and Ralph Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Burton of Cedar Springs, GA; her daughters, Tangela Burton Eddy (Dean) of Cedar Springs, GA and Tammy Brewer of Davenport, FL; her sisters, Dorothy White and Maxine Clements; and her grandchildren, Christina Torres, Tanya Torres, Erin Torres, Marco Torres, Jake Torres, Megan McLendon, Thomas McLendon, Richard Brewer, Teisha Brewer and Travis Burton. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home (909 S Tennille Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Springs Cemetery.
