He was predeceased by: his mother Glenda Fuqua Bass; and his father-in-law Don "Pop" Schwegman. He is survived by: his wife Barbie Schwegman Townsell; his daughter Tiffani; his son-in-law Jake Colston; his grandson Jackson Colston; his sister Vonnie Tant (John); his nieces, Amber McArthur and Elizabeth Watford; his mother-in-law Betsy Schwegman; and his sister-in-law Donna Wells.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161).

In lieu of flowers, living plants are appreciated.
