It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Dempsey Jr. of Cave Spring, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Foster Smith Dempsey and Thomas Evan Dempsey, Sr.; and his siblings, Betty Marcus and Lynn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Reatha Carroll Dempsey; his children, Thomas "Ted" Dempsey, III (Karoline) of Niceville, FL., Tara Dempsey Avery (Matthew) of Rome, Tonya Dempsey Wilson (James) of Cave Spring, Rip Carroll of Rome, Laura Gourley (John) of Birmingham and Ben Carroll (Renee) of Missouri; and his sisters, Reba Lindsey (Gerald) of Rome and Joan Crawford of Newnan. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
