With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Therron Godfrey of Cave Spring, Georgia, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert and Gertrude Ellis Godfrey; his siblings, Roland Godfrey, Doris Shaw, James Robert Godfrey, Leon Godfrey and Gayle Godfrey; and his son-in-law Hughes Threlkeld.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherron Threlkeld of Vidalia, GA, Judy Rice (Gary) of Cincinnati, OH and Lisa Bode (Randy) of Aiken, SC; his former wife Ruth Hopkins of Vidaila, GA; his grandchildren, Ginny Horton (Alex), Allie Tillery (Jonathan), Lindsay Rice, Michael Rice (Jessica), Summer Hall, Haley Hall and Grant Hall; and his great grandchildren, Kai Rice, Zayn Rice and Hughes Horton.
