She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Cordle and Inez Buffington Cordle; her husband Ewell Sanford Carr, Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Cordle, Bill Cordle, Larry Cordle and Sara Cordle Sprayberry.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Carr (Kathy), Joan Hunt (Allen), Cathy Walker (Phil) and Vicki Reed (Dan); her grandchildren, Kasey, Andy Austin, Kendal, Swayze Waters, Kim Carr, Sam, Hannah Hunt, Ben, Nicole Hunt, Van, Jenna Hunt, Haley, Roger McConkey, Carrly, Eric Lovvorn, Ridge Walker, Richelyn Reed and Austin Reed; and her siblings, Nancy Nettuno and Philip Cordle (Gail). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family has respectfully requested that floral arrangements are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cedartown, 101 N College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
