He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Highfield Ragland; his grandchildren, Caleb Parris, Mattie Parris White (Drue), Bryan Parris, Nick Fox and Erica Fox; his nephew Byron Dover (Lori); and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
