It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Tate of Cave Spring, Georgia, born in Manor, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Walstein Booth and Ollie Mae Smith Booth; her husband Ray James Tate, Sr.; and her brother Tillman Booth. She is survived by: her children, LaRae Tate Martin (William) of Centre, Bonnie Tate Goff (Ray) of Greenwood, S. C., Freida Tate Brooks (Loudon) of Greenwood and Ray James Tate (Selena) of Cave Spring; her grandchildren, Drew Martin (Valerie), Blake Martin (Anna), Trae Martin (Leanna), Loudon Brooks, IV of Greenville, S. C., Dylan Eubanks (Paige), Alyssa Eubanks, Dawson Ray Tate, Landon Tate and Tripp Goff (Janet); and her brothers, Fernell Booth (Lorna) of Louisville, Bill Booth of Zebulon and Donald Booth (Debbie) of Cumming. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
