He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Godfrey Lambert of Centre and Karen Nesbit (Jim) of Centre; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lane (Jennifer), Chris Studdard (Lynn), Jeremy Studdard, Tiffany Evans (Ryan) and Jessica Nesbit; his great grandchildren, Finley Lane, Adeline Lane, Hunter Studdard, Logan Studdard, Faith Evans, Brock Evans, Katelyn Grinstead, Jeremy Messenger and Josh Messenger; and his brothers, Therron Godfrey of Augusta, James Godfrey of Chattanooga and Gayle Godfrey of Cave Spring.
