It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey D. Self of Cave Spring, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Eddis B. Self. He is survived by: his wife Linda Self of Cave Spring, GA; his children, Dr. DaLane Self (Kathey) of Elm City, NC and Sonja Gordy (Steve) of Ellijay, GA; and his brother Larry Self of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by 3 step-children; 4 half-siblings; 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
