It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmalee Highnote of Cave Spring, Georgia, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emmalee Highnote to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tudor Jones and Jessie Lee Forbes Jones; her husband Arthur Drane Highnote (Doc); her siblings, Tudor Jones, Jr. (Bunk), John Calvin Jones and Margaret Jones Harling; and her sons-in-law, Jerrel Hunt and Richard Allgood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Allgood (Peggy) of Cave Spring and Laura Hunt of Cleveland; and her grandchildren, Mathew Boyd Hunt, Emily Grace Hunt, Richard Bradford Allgood and William Arthur Allgood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alton Holman Heritage Arts, the Cave Spring Historical Society, or to the Cave Spring United Methodist Church.
