He is survived by: his mother Lorene Hicks Abbott of Rome; his wife Linda Elrod; his children, Emerson Mack Abbott, Jr., Britaneca Hendrix of Cedartown, Jacob Abbott (Della Robinson) of Rome and Cody Abbott of Cave Spring; and his siblings, William Thomas Abbott, Jr. (Elaine) of Oneona, AL., James Abbott (Ann) of Dawsonville, Richard Abbott (Cathy) of Cedartown and Susie Parker of Centre, AL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
