She was predeceased by: her parents, Carter Simmons Brannon and Myrtle Victoria Hodges Brannon; her husband James Russell Carnes; and her brother Clarence Brannon. She is survived by: her daughters, Ginger Anthony (Tim) of Cave Spring and Kristen Burnett of Florida; her grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Anthony and Christopher Brannon Brooks; and her pets, Finley and River. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
