It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Davis (Cave Spring, Georgia), born in Armuchee, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hubbard Davis and Bessie Owens Davis; and his siblings, Miss Lois Davis, Eola Morgan, Lucille Byars, Miriam Cox, Walter Davis, Rev. Paul Davis, Hugh Davis, James Davis and Bob Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Hester; his children, Roger Davis (Crystal) of Cave Spring and Lisa Davis Messel (George) of Waco, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Rachel Davis-Spradlin, Amy Davis, Seth Davis (Victoria), Tammy Lee (Sam), Allison Lee and Raegan Messel; and his great grandchildren, Davis Spradlin and Aubrey Spradlin.
Due to the resurgence of the Delta Variant, Covid precautions of masks and distancing were requested along with cards to express condolences.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Cave Spring United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 305, Cave Spring, Ga. 30124.
