It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Medlock of Cataula, Georgia, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwyn Medlock and Louise Medlock; his brothers, Kenneth and Garry; his wife Nancy Medlock of Cataula; his son Dr. Justin Medlock; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Shoemake-Medlock; his grandson Declan Medlock of Seattle Washington; his daughter Erin Medlock Turpin; his grandchildren, Austin Turpin, Claire and Ireland Turpin of Cataula; his brother Dennis Medlock of Phenix City; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Lightsey of Dunnellon, FL and Mike Hamner of Midland, GA.. He was also cherished by partners, parents and grandparents.

The family kindly asks that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Columbus Hospice be made in Mike's memory in lieu of flowers.
