He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Peterson and Melba Moore Peterson; his former wife Joann Peterson; and his wife Jill Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Wayne Peterson, Jr. (Jodie) of Buchanan, GA, Lee Peterson (Mandy) of Cataula, GA and Holly Morris (Jon) of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Draper of Cataula, GA, Logan Draper of Cataula, GA, Branton Peterson of Cataula, GA, Kynlea Morris of Phenix City, AL and Leland Morris of Phenix City, AL; and his siblings, Larry Peterson (Betsy) of Harris County, GA and Bonnie Green (Gary) of Catuala, GA.
