With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Wayne Peterson Sr. of Cataula, Georgia, born in Richland, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Peterson and Melba Moore Peterson; his former wife Joann Peterson; and his wife Jill Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Wayne Peterson, Jr. (Jodie) of Buchanan, GA, Lee Peterson (Mandy) of Cataula, GA and Holly Morris (Jon) of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Draper of Cataula, GA, Logan Draper of Cataula, GA, Branton Peterson of Cataula, GA, Kynlea Morris of Phenix City, AL and Leland Morris of Phenix City, AL; and his siblings, Larry Peterson (Betsy) of Harris County, GA and Bonnie Green (Gary) of Catuala, GA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
