It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela McDowell of Cataula, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Wooten and Mary Wright Wooten; and her brother Greg Wooten. She is survived by: her husband James McDowell; her children, Nikki McDowell Loyless (Donnie) of Covington, GA, Brandi McDowell Alford (Kevin) of Hamilton, GA, Emily Davenport of Cataula, GA and Chris McDowell (Mandy Stubbs) of Cataula, GA; her grandchildren, Brooke Cumbie, Josh Loyless, Mark Highnote, Savannah McDowell, Sam McDowell, Jamie Alford, Mason Alford and Sydney Hansinger; her great grandchildren, Christian Cumbie and Kensley Cumbie; and her sisters, Linda Page-Williams and Elaine Singletary. She is also survived by dog, "Buster"; and two best friends.
