She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willie Davis Sr. and Edna Jackson-Davis; her son George L. Benham Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Sidney Davis, John Willie Davis Jr., Mahalia Johnson, Nelle Elaine Henderson, Mabel Davis-Holmes, Marion Woodard and Jewelyn Hill.

She is survived by: her former husband George L. Benham Sr.; her children, Michael T. Benham (Kay), Renee-Benham Kennedy and Rae Benham-Winters (Michael); and her grandchildren, Lucrisa Jean Benham-Taylor (Michael), Tynael L. Benham, Shawn Lavette, Latandra Brown, Michael Winters II, Yolanda, Richard Winters (Jasmine) and Kimberly Brown (Lemual).
