With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Will Allen Cates of Cartersville, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Cates and Irene Barlow Cates; his brothers, Barlow Cates and Billy Hugh Cates; and his grandson Matthew Will Planchet.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Carter Cates; his children, Jean Planchet (Stephen), Ann Esparros (Keith), Amy Kahlan (Doug) and Christopher Cates; his grandchildren, Alexis (David), Zachary, Amanda, Christian and Ysa; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Caleb; and his brother George Cates (Helen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
