He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Brown Maulden; his parents, James Maulden and Estelle Reed Maulden; and his siblings, Rilda Kilby, Willie Wigington, Johnny Maulden, Frances Lipscomb, Clarence Maulden, Annie Ruth Singley and Hazel Maulden.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Guyton (Joel), Daryl Maulden (Elizabeth) and Kelli Bryson (Phil); his grandchildren, Lauren Guyton, Samantha Bryson, Katie Guyton, Zoe Bryson, Michael and Eliana Nieves; his great grandchildren, Lydia Bryson, Renleigh Guyton, Anthony and Jaiden Nieves; his brothers, Max Mauldin and Charles "Tiny" Maulden; his grandsons, Justin Guyton, Taylor Bryson and Conner Bryson; and his nephews, Jeff Mauldin, Derick Mauldin, Michael Singley, Sam Fortenberry, Michael Woodall, Reuben Lowe, Tony Boyd and Jason Prater. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
