She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Calhoun Middleton and Virginia Fox Black; her husband Dr. Grover J. Brown; and her brother Bert Black. She is survived by: her children, Grover J. Brown, Jr. (Carolyn), Connie Brown Lide (Brooks), Susan Brown Richardson and Stephen D. Brown (Heather); her siblings, A. B. Black (Pat) and Pete Middleton; her grandchildren, Bryn Richardson (Lindsey), Will Richardson, Maggie Richardson, Rose Marie Brown, Dr. Grover Brown III, Margaret Brown, Caroline Lide Hanson (Michael), Carly Lide Readmond (Bryce), Addison Brown and Tate Brown; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Richardson and Virginia Hanson.
