He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Couch and Tinnie Marie Byars Couch; his wife Carolyn Simpson Couch; and his son Timothy Couch. He is survived by: his son Steve Couch (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tim Couch (Megan), Marc Couch (Toni), Derek Couch (Tamara) and Stephanie Couch (Richard Smith); and his siblings, Clyde Couch, Ernest Couch (Rose) and Mary Owens (Allen). He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, nine great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
