He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Akins and JP Akins; his grandchildren, Melanie, Justin Nelan and James Akins; his daughter Alinda Kinskey (Bo); his grandchildren, Joseph Kinskey, Sara Kinskey, Becky Brookshire (Glenn), Wesley Adams and David Adams (Lena); and his daughter Marilyn Lewis.
