She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Greenway and Agnes Greenway; her husband Everett "Fuzz" Cornett; her sons-in-law, Ellis Vaughn and Jerry Arp; her sister Marie; and her siblings-in-law, George Dunaway and Pat Greenway.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise V. Arp and Gay Ray (Dennis); her grandchildren, Jason Vaughn, Holly Finnemore (Justin), Andrew Ray (Chelsea), Mara Scofield (Brent), Anna May (Drew), Steve Arp (Cristy) and Stephanie Tiller (Jason); her great grandchildren, Hadley, Jack Finnemore, Nora, Sarah Ray, Henry, Charlie Scofield, Thomas and Sophia May; and her brother John Greenway of Savannah, GA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services (430 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Sunset Memory Gardens (790 Indian Mound Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30120).
