He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Evans and Ruby Walraven Evans; and his siblings, Annie Jo Wilson, Margie Givens, Charles Evans, Mack Evans and Ernest Evans.

He is survived by: his children, Jada Renee Dean and Michael Evans; his grandsons, Gage Morris and Grayson Dean; his siblings, James Evans (Christa), Miller Evans (Linda Gayle) and Millie Pallone (Al); and his friend Faye Floyd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
