We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 77, Robert Mercer of Cartersville, Georgia, born in Greenville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard Mercer and Lucy Jane Mercer; his grandparents, Lum and Effie Mercer; and his brothers, Bill Mercer and Donald Eugene Mercer.

He is survived by: his wife Carmen Mercer; his children, Jennifer Whorton (Eddie), Tara Tomczyk (Mark) and Bert Mercer (Erin); his grandchildren, Jared Whorton, Ryan Tomczyk, Kyle Tomczyk, Mckenna Tomczyk, Oliver Mercer and Emerson Mercer; his brother Tom Mercer (Susan); and his nieces and nephews, Brad Mercer, Stacy Carpenter, Don Mercer, Bill Mercer, Chris Mercer and Mike Mercer.

In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
