He is survived by: his wife Cathy Davis Martin; his children, Adam Martin of Gadsden, Dusty (Rachel Martin) and Ashley (Josh Conner); his grandchildren, Addi Conner and Holden Conner; his stepchildren, Mike, Penny Miller of Calhoun, Georgia, BJ Bearden of Ellijay and Wendy Bearden of Boca Raton, Florida; and his brother Tim Black.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Mr. Martin is requesting that donations be made to the Freedom Riders in his honor.
